After six years of unsuccessful treatments, Aastha decided to stop the medication and focus on her studies. 

Her father always told her not to care about her looks because once she becomes successful in life, no one will care about her appearance. Aastha focused on her studies and performed well in her exams, receiving multiple scholarships.

Over the years, her vitiligo spread across her body, resulting in even coverage of white skin. In 2019, she decided to share her story publicly to help and educate others.
